Indian For A Day

As I mentioned in my previous post, I attended an Indian wedding reception for my bestfriends cousin. It was so great to dress up and feel a apart of their tradition. I cant wait until my BFF gets married so we can plan her fabulous Indian wedding.

The Knot

"Slow Down" on BET's 106 and Park

In May my BFF and I had the amazing experience to be apart of the David Banner and 9th Wonder Music Video for 'Slow Down' featuring songtress, Heather Victoria. The video was directed and videographed by Shomi and his team at Illusive Media.

Make up for the video was done by Dhalia Rodriguez Edwards (me), Styling by my BFF Mikasa La'Charles, and hair by Natasha Guynn.

A video shoot with David Banner is guaranteed to be amazing and this one most definitely was. From Banner's jokes to demand for attention there was never a dull moment on set. Banner and 9th Wonder are not only talented artists but also amazing people...that actually care about the prosperity of others. IMAGINE THAT!!! With Banner's generous donations to youth programs and 9th's academic career as a professor at UNC at Chapel Hill; these guys set new standards for being MORE than just a good music artist!

The video premiered to the world yesterday on BET's 106. Did you see it? If so...let me know what you think.

Rays of Sun

The weather was beautiful today...the sun was out but not scorching hot. Its a pure sign that summer is vastly dieing down. Well off to plan my kids back to school shopping for tomorrow...can't believe my little boy is starting preschool. By the way...I can't get enough of this new haircut, I'm loving it!!

Painting The Town Leopard

Happy Monday! A few weeks ago I was booked to do makeup for an aspiring artist but very well known in Virginia named Tisha Howard. A New Me

Hello there...sorry for the lack of post. I've been dealing with a lot.

I decided to try a new look for the upcoming fall...bangs and a dark brown color. I think I may go darker sometime in October. After looking at the Dash sisters for sooo long I thought it was time to try something dark and bold. So...what do you think?

I visited the most adorable consignment boutique today...Worth The Wait. Tried on a pair of patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps that were a little to big....but the price was perfect. Whoever wears a size 40/10 US is a lucky lady...so if you're in the area hurry along and check them out.
