We had our Friday lunch date at Baker's Crust...you must try the Malibu sandwich (Roasted turkey, Muenster cheese, avocado spread, cucumbers, sprouts, tomato and herb mayonnaise on multigrain bread) Delicious! Also stopped by a new spot Double Take ~ Fashion Forward Consignment shop....deserves a second visit from us.

Stroll Around Reston


After visiting my cousin near the DC area we took her word for it and decided to visit the Reston shopping area. I tried to get my hubby to purchase the Continental oxford's from Banana Republic but he totally didn't like them. What do you think? Maybe if I get a few yays from you guys he'll have a change of heart...lol.

Cupcake Time at DC Cupcakes

Hubby and I had to visit the infamous DC Cupcakes and try one or maybe a few of these talked about delectable cakes.

This was the line to enter the pastry shop...I heard the line is like this 7 days a week all day...that speaks volumes.

I opted for the Red Velvet...yummy and he went straight for Birthday Cake. Half a dozen was about 16 bucks.

I thought about you Miss Myeshia and your cupcakes while gazing into cupcake land.

My Hana Air

Hi Everyone! I'm back from a well deserved break and ready to share all with you. My vacation to DC was great my return home to Spring Cleaning was refreshing and my week to catch up at work was just exhausting but all is well and I'm ready to share. Thank you to everyone for the concerned emails...I felt loved. :-)

First I want to share my hair with you guys which I got done the day before my trip. I was in desperate need of getting it done so when I was contacted by John at Misikko to try out the Hana Air Professional Hair Dryer I was all in....turns out I'm in for the long haul. I'm in love with this dryer combined with the great products supplied made my hair as light as a feather in the wind... Literally.

With the type of hair texture I have John picked the right candidate for a transformation.

How my hair normally looks before straightening...Pretty wild and big huh!? May we start with ALL the goodies sent... Paul Mitchell smoothing Super Skinny Daily Shampoo & Daily Treatment, Corioliss Leave in Protection Mist and The End Organic Silica Shine Enhancer

And now for the Outcome... This has to be the Best Hairdryer I have EVER used. I'm so excited to purchase a Professional Flat Iron to go along with my fabulous dryer.

Last weekend I did a pre wedding look consultation for my sisters BFF Christine and my sister which is her maid of honor. I love how the look came out and so did they. I was amazed at my sister eye brows....she has naturally faint brows and after I was done with her they left calling me The Eye Brow Girl...lol. Enjoy

Picture Perfect Skin

I've always been the one to take great care of my skin since working as a cosmetician at Walgreens during my young years. Maybe it was the good discount on product or maybe it was the enticing of all the products I had to view on a daily basis. All I can say is that it paid off because I've came across and tried so many products which lead me to find the perfect ones for my type of skin.

These are the ones that I use on a daily basis.



One of my gifts for Christmas was the wonderful Mia Clarisonic skin cleansing system which is now added to my daily routine. I've had this on my Sephora wish list for a while now and kind of forgot about it every now and then. But someone special didn't forget. :-)



I LOVE how he added a touch of his thoughts to it by getting it engraved. Makes it that much more special to me.
