6 Quick + Easy Steps To Looking Flawless On The Go

Dhalia Edwards Makeup February 1, 2017

We have all been there… It’s Monday morning, your alarm rings, you hit snooze (one too many times) and when you finally get yourself to wake up, you are running LATE!

Such a stressful feeling, especially when you know you need to put your best face forward for all those work meetings!

Or maybe…

You are a momma that just can’t seem to get 5 minutes to yourself in the morning to make it look like you actually slept last night!

Whatever the case, we all need to look flawless on the go sometimes. So, here are 6 easy steps to achieving that perfect, well-rested, “I’ve got it all together” look…

Step One: SPF Moisturizer

Even if you aren’t wearing any makeup, applying a moisturizer with SPF is an essential! Not only will applying a SPF moisturizer help concealer glide on smoothly, but it is a wrinkle-preventing, cancer-fighting, complexion-enhancing skin-care powerhouse! We recommend using an SPF of 25-40 and looking for the term “broad- spectrum”, which means it filters out both UVA & UVB rays!

Step Two: Apply Your Base

To get perfectly even skin the speedy way and apply your base we recommend using a foundation stick or compact powder. These are easy items to take on the go, reduce the mess that liquid foundation may cause in your purse and perfect to achieve that even skin.

TIP: if using a compact powder, apply your concealer first.

Step Three: Conceal

No shame in a little concealer to hide those undesired areas, like dark eye circles, acne, scars, etc. Hide those blemishes using a bendable concealer. We love Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless concealer!

TIP: If you still have problems areas after the first layer, feel free to dab on another layer of concealer on those stubborn spots.

Step Four: Color

After you have an even base, now it’s time to add a little color! That can be a lipstick, lip stain or blush/bronzer – but to keep it fast and simple: we recommend using a lipstick and doubling it up for a cheek stain!

Step Five: Bright Eyes

Eye lash curlers are a wonderful and quick tool to really give you eyes an even bigger boost! Use an eyelash curler before you apply mascara for beautiful open eyes. Our favorite budget-friendly mascara is Loreal Voluminous or on the higher end Chanel Le Volume

Tip: To get an extra bright-eyed effect, add a little highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes!

Step Six: Maintain

Carry your powder compact & puff in your purse to absorb oil and to keep cover-up from sliding off midday. Also, Take your lipstick in your purse, as well, for any post-lunch touch ups!

Presto!

You are all set up to look flawless quickly and easily no matter where your life is taking you!
