Party Rock!

I enjoyed myself last Friday along with the rest of our team at club Element Lounge in Virginia Beach. We hosted a party in celebration of our Fall clothing launch. Much success to come with our founder T.I. being released soon and our new signed on ambassadors, B.O.B and Hosea Chanchez. If you don't know about Akoo Clothing...Google it! :-)

Just got word of some exciting news but I'll wait to share just incase things fall through the cracks. I'm sooooo excited though! I knew today was going to be an awesome day. Hope you guys are ready for the weekend...a few wedding consultations and cleaning for me. Fun huh?!

Vacation

Sorry for the lack of post and no warning...I've been busy with work up to the day. Returned Monday night from visiting Washington DC. Spent each and every day walking with fun sites and activates to do and see. I had to get a serious relaxing foot pedicure yesterday...I was in heaven.

Here are a few snippet's...Enjoy! Not sure if my foot has grown or I just wasn't use to all the walking but my fav Nike Air Max didn't provide much comfort on the trip...so they're up for grabs at my SHOP.

Veer Magazine Issue is Out

Veer magazine, Summer Dining & Swimsuits issue is out! Last month I shared with you that I was working on this magazine editorial and I was elated to see the finished piece last week. My Hair with HANA!

See that picture below...I had a lot of those split ends going on. So it was time to see my hairstylist Noelia after a good 4 months. Wearing my wild hair is much more convenient during Summer months while working out and bearing with the Virginia Beach heat. Since I needed a major trim and deep condition I decided to get my hair straightened...I took along my new HANA titanium flat iron and finishing products from my friend John at Misikko for her to use in place of her products.



Convenient storage and heat resistant mat is a must to care for your flat irons.

Out with the old in with the new...I'm in love with my new flat iron! I couldn't believe how much longer the hair has gotten....when its' all crinkled up you really cant see the growth. This will probably last me a good two weeks...with this heat I cant promise anything. :-)

Finally...ESSENCE

Finally...I got these hands on the issue. I ended up clearing off shelf. If you haven't already heard....I was featured in the July issue of Essence magazine. Beyonce graces the cover wearing white and I'm on page 31 with a few more styling ladies on how we wear white.

Hello there... I hope everyone had a great weekend. I was fortunate enough to get a girls day in yesterday...served up with pedicures, shopping, lunch and margarita's. Much needed after a busy week. Although I was told I can't share my images with you until mid June... which by then I'll be able to share the professional images. The project I worked on last week was a swimsuit and local restaurants editorial for VEER Magazine which will be released next month. I can't wait to share it with you! Stay tuned.
