Beautiful Bride - Heather

I love working with brides and their bridal groups. This is my bride Heather from a September wedding (HERE). Heather doesn't wear makeup so she wanted something very simple soft with false lashes and a pink lip. For the bridesmaids we went with a soft/medium smoky eye using deep purples and lilacs which made their eyes pop along with a plum lip.

My New Corioliss 18mm wand

My kind friends at Misikko were kind enough to send me my first ever Corioliss curling iron and I was able to put it to use last night. My Beautiful Bride Tara

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with another wonderful bride named Tara. I love doing weddings because every single one is different and memorable. I can not wait until I get the professional images from this one so I can share the great work Jill Brown (wedding planner) put into it.

Fall Tone

Promise Me...I Promise

Last week I was booked to work a music video in the making to help support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation and everyone battling breast cancer. The producer was Levi Little one of the original Blackstreet members and still in the music industry. Here are a few photos on set.


I was honored to contribute to such a great cause. The video will take another month or two for completion but I'll be sure to post it once completed.

Old Town Feel

While out and about last week I came across this little area to take photos. It had an old town feel and a little spooky if you ask me. Got me in the spirit to put some Halloween decor up with the kids and checking out the pumpkin patch this up coming weekend.

My Bride Heather

This past weekend my bride Heather married the love of her life. Heather wanted to go with a very soft and simple look for her day. The bridesmaids on the other hand wore shades of purple along with their cool converse.

I was happy to have worked on her and close ones for this special day. I enjoyed every moment.

Don Omar...SURPRISE!

This was one of my favorite nights in Cancun...to surprise my oldest sister Mia for her 30th birthday to see Don Omar in Concert. Prior to the trip...while search the Internet for excursions and things to do my youngest sister found out that Don Omar was performing on her birthday there. It wasn't hard to keep the secret in because I was distracted with packing and all. It was great to see her so excited, up and dancing the entire night.


My favorite songs of Don Omar are Pobre Diabla and Danza Kuduro

Some of everything from dinner, lots of sunbathing and visiting Isla Mujeres. I still can smell Mexico when I open my closet...its my bags & luggage. :-)

Riu Palace

Originally we were supposed to stay at the Riu Caribe but they transferred us to the Riu Palace due to last minute renovations. I wasn't complaining because after comparing the two actually three Riu Cancun...PALACE IS THE BEST. So let me leave you with a view of the palace.

I hope you all had a great and relaxing Labor Day weekend. First day back to school tomorrow for my daughter which means my motherly duties of helping with homework will be starting up. Fourth grade...I just cant believe how fast she's growing up.

Here are a few pictures taken while hanging with my husbands family for good live band music and drinks. I just LOVE that Urban Decay NAKED palette, played part in this soft glowing look for the evening.

Bohemian Wedding Photo Shoot
