Classics Though








As the warmer weathers set in I find myself searching for new pieces.  More so sticking to the classics which become more of a staple in the wardrobe.  I was excited when I saw the Birkenstock's came back out as a trend ...to me these are classics though,  I grew up watching my mom wear her own pair.  And the best part, they only get better with time (comfort wise).

My name is Dhalia and I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia with my husband, two children and Toy Poodle. I grew up in the Hampton Roads area and it's where I  perfected my passion for more than eight years.  My goal is to educate my fellow makeup lovers about products and showcase my work for those in search of a professional makeup artist. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some of the most recognized photographers, agencies, crews and talent.  Working in most areas of the entertainment industry, including T.V., print, and video. While there is excitement in that side of the industry, my absolute favorite place to be is working with a bride on her wedding day!

When I'm not busy playing with makeup I can be found delving in skin care products, style musing, or laid out on the beach spending time with friends and family.​

Weddings:

Contact me to check availability.

  • Time is everything when it comes to planning the big day. Popular dates during peak wedding season (May-October) are often booked 12 months in advance. Please don’t delay if you are interested in using my services, as it is better to be in touch sooner than later!
  • Dates are reserved with a signed contract and payment of retainer.


Consultation / Trial Run.

  • While it is not mandatory, I prefer to do a trial run application, prior to the wedding. This allows us the opportunity to meet and collaborate. This is where we can work together on creating the look you visualize.
  • Bring in some snap shots, magazine photos, anything that inspires your desired look.
  • Please keep in mind; we use nothing but the best quality products; MAC, Makeup Forever, NARS, Chanel, Urban Decay and more.


On the Books.

  • After we collaborate and finalize the look, Sign the contract and reserve your date.
  • I am very comfortable with large bridal parties
  • If you’d like me to do your makeup for engagement photos let me know

I’m MOVING...


I’m soooooo excited to tell you that I’m MOVING INTO AN OFFICE/STUDIO SPACE! We are in and setting up next week! Follow along on my Instagram @dhaliaedwards to watch the space evolve. I’m sharing the space with several other amazing VA entrepreneurs (all ladies). The space is called The Brides Corner and we are located in Chambord Commons, off of Virginia Beach Blvd and North Great Neck Rd. Thanks to all my family, friends and clients for all your support and encouragements along the way. This is going to be a great new adventure and I’m excited to experience it with you all.
