  • Time is everything when it comes to planning the big day. Popular dates during peak wedding season (May-October) are often booked 8-12 months in advance. Please don’t delay if you are interested in using our services, as it is better to be in touch sooner than later! Contact us HERE for artist availability. 

  • Dates are only reserved with a signed contract and payment of retainer on a first come first serve basis.

Consultation / Trial Run:

  • While it is not mandatory, we prefer to do a trial run application, prior to the wedding at our studio. This allows us the opportunity to meet and collaborate. This is where we can work together on creating the look you visualize for your special day. Trial runs take an hour and half.

  • Bring in some snap shots, our Instagram images, Pinterest photos, anything that inspires your desired look.

  • Please keep in mind; we carry & use a vast and diverse selection of prestige beauty products. From classic brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, MAC Cosmetics, MAKE UP FOR EVER, NARS Cosmetics, Temptu Airbrush and more in a sanitary way.

On the Books:

  • After we collaborate and finalize the look, sign the contract and reserve your date.

  • We are very comfortable with large bridal parties.

Q & A

How much is our travel fee? 

We come onsite for day of wedding at NO FEE within the Hampton Roads area of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Hampton. All other areas, a small travel fee applies. 

What do I need to bring or provide?

Nothing!  Just a clean face & smile.  We're excited to work our artistry skills on you.

Do we do hair?

No, our expertise is makeup only. However, we’re glad to refer you several great hairstylist in the area.

How long does makeup application take?

Makeup application takes us anywhere from 45 mins to an hour depending on the look you are going for. Bridal trials take an hour to an hour 15 mins. There is a $20 late fee if 15 minutes late. Please call us if you’re running late.

Do we offer airbrush foundation? What is the difference between traditional & airbrush makeup?

Yes, we specialize in all areas of makeup.  We use Temptu Air airbrushing for clients that prefer this beauty breakthrough technology and superior makeup formula work in unison to give you sheer coverage when you want it, and full coverage only where you need it. The airbrush application technique is quicker, yes, but harder to touch up. Our traditional technique is artisticly applied with waterproof face base and techniques using sponges or foundation brush, so you get coverage that looks natural, workable and can be touched up if needed.   

Do we wash & sanitize our brushes and artistry products?

Absolutely.  We use nothing but the best and prestige makeup brands out there and taking care of our products only help us to continuouslly provide those flawless looks.  We never double dip into liquid and cream products, always using disposables.  

What forms of payment do we take?

We take all forms or payment; cash, credit cards, venmo.

How do I book my wedding with DEM?

We book weddings on a first come, first serve basis. Your wedding date is not secured with us unless a signed contract and deposit are submitted. Click here to inquire & start the process!
