Elizabeth Pope (Artist)

Hello! My name is Elizabeth. I have always loved makeup since I was a kid. My mom would give me her samples and I pretended to own my own makeup counter. My whole life everyone has always said that I needed to be a Makeup artist and I've always been my friends go to girl when they need makeup for a night out.

I fell in love with Dhalia's work through social media but was able to see it first hand when she did the makeup for my friends wedding. I finally decided to chase my dream and reached out to her and I'm so glad I did.  Making people feel beautiful is a wonderful feeling.  I look forward to working with each and every one of you!

Brittany Sandford (Artist)

Hey! My name is Brittany. As long as I can remember, makeup has been my passion. I started in middle school when my mom took me to the makeup counter to learn from a professional how to take care of my skin while wearing makeup and I was hooked. I thought it would be so great to be that for other people.

I've been working in theatre for the last 8 years. My love of makeup followed me into this world where I worked as an artist and a designer. I recently went back to school for cosmetology to make myself as well rounded as possible and now that I'm done, I'm ready to dive into the beauty industry. My favorite part about being a makeup artist is making others feel confident in their own natural beauty, which is why I was drawn to working with Dhalia in the first place. I take pride in catering to everyone's individual style and enhancing their natural glow.

Clarissa Severt (Artist)

Hi I’m Clarissa! I been living in Virginia Beach for the last eleven years. When I’m not doing makeup you can catch me at the park or the beach with my fur baby Sir Owen.

I’ve always enjoyed doing makeup and making people feel good about themselves. It brings me a lot of joy and satisfaction when I see the smile and confidence that I’m able to bring out in others. For me doing makeup is more than a hobby, it is a way for me to remind women that they are beautiful and should always take pride in themselves. 

I’m excited and thankful to be part of Dhalia Edwards Makeup Team and look forward to working with you soon.

Ariel Delorito Jorgensen (Artist)

Hi, I’m Ariel! I’m from Los Angeles, California but have lived in Chesapeake, VIrginia for majority of my life. I have always loved Disney movies and all things beauty. I can’t remember a time where I wasn’t playing with my sisters, aunts, or moms makeup. I was constantly putting it on and practicing on all my dolls and little sister. To this day, I have a couple Disney Plushes with blush, eyeliner and lipstick stains. 

To me, applying makeup is a meditating process whether I’m doing it on my client or on myself. It’s so relaxing, conversations are very organic, and it’s just the “you” time some people need. I love making people feel beautiful and transformed through makeup. 

When Dhalia found me, I was immediately drawn to her energy. I am so thankful from the support of my family and Dhalia. I am eager to be apart of her brand and help all the clients feel the glow!

MeLissa Williams (Artist/ Studio Manager)

Hi! My name is MeLissa. Anything that involves fashion and beauty is my passion. I am only five classes away from my bachelors degree from Old Dominion University, double majoring in fashion merchandising and marketing. I am also a full time Co-Manager at a fashion retailer located in a nearby mall. I met Dhalia in 2016 and have already fallen in love with her attention to detail and her high level of professionalism.  

I love being creative and what better way to do so but through makeup! In my fashion class in high school, many years ago, we would watch fashion shows as assignments.  Other than the garments, the makeup drew my interest and applying makeup quickly became a hobby of mine. Today, I take pride in my craft and am honored to give you the self-confidence you deserve and will cherish for a lifetime.

Chantel Suber (Artist)

Hi! My name is Chantel Suber. I guess you can say that makeup has always been a love of mine- I remember using clear gloss on my eyelids and black eyeliner when I was in high school because that is all the makeup I was allowed to wear and it made me so excited! I was born and raised in North Carolina and I have been living in Virginia since 2007. I am also a 3rd grade teacher, so I guess you can say I enjoy enhancing brains and beauty!

I am grateful and blessed to join an amazing team of hardworking and talented women and I look forward to working with you for your special occasion!

Sedona McCaw (Artist/ Social Media Manager)

Hi, I’m Sedona! I have been in love with makeup for my whole life. I grew up watching some of the most famous makeup artists on YouTube and practicing on anyone and everyone I could get my hands on. I am a cat mom of a sweet tabby cat named Betsy that loves to cuddle and play. I grew up in Chesapeake, VA and decided to move out to Virginia Beach in 2020 and have loved every minute of it. I completed the undergraduate program at the University of Lynchburg where I majored in Psychology. I chose psychology because I love getting to know new people and connecting with them on all levels.

I am so excited to be a part of such a talented team that I can learn from to become the best I can be. I can’t wait to get to know you, be a part of making you feel beautiful, and empower you through the art of makeup!
